 AboutDjango Films is the flagship animation studio of Sylvain Chomet, writer and director of the academy award nominated Les Triplettes de Belleville (The Triplets of Belleville / Belleville Rendez-Vous). Located in Edinburgh, Scotland, Django Films is currently in production with L'Illusionniste / The Illusionist (working title) a 2D animated feature film which is based on an original script by French comic genius, Jacques Tati, and set to be released in 2009.
 Outside of Django Sylvain also participated as one of 20 directors in the collaborative feature film, Paris Je T'aime, representing his first foray into writing and directing live action. On the back of the critical acclaim for his five minute contribution set in the 7th arrondissement of Paris (Tour Eiffel), he is currently writing a live action musical feature set in 1970s Paris.
 As well as feature film work Django also specializes in TV commercials produced by London-based Th1ng. Clients include Fairy, United Airlines and Winterthur.
